Catch up

So I am going to tell you the story of who I really am. My intent for this blog was to be a combination of a journal and a scrapbook and I was going to effortlessly keep up and I must admit going about a year with regular updates was pretty good for me. However, I've lost it. I can name a million reasons, the job hours, my fatigue, the mess I am doing it in, whatever...the truth is, I am a procrastinator with a touch of depression. When I get a little down, it takes the fun away. I guess I have let it happen. The good news is that usually when I recognize it I can turn it around. Not the job hours, the fatigue, or the mess, but the depression...that I can do :)

When I first got behind I thought I would remember and be able to catch up. Not possible. So I went through my pictures and added the ones I think happened since my last update. However, they are in my files in alpha order not date order and when I load to the blog they go in reverse. Here are my pictures of things I want to remember from Z to A.
Trisha's Homecoming: Trisha came home from her mission. She served in Washington DC Temple mission. She had a great mission. I love her attitude. I have since visited with her at home and she is a delight! Texas lavendar: this is the lavendar field in bloom in front of Mary's house. Obviously, this was in Spring.

Texas lavendar 2: Mary's front yard. Such a country place. I love it. Peace on earth.

Squeeze Inn: Erik knows that I love Triple D - Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. Since there are four in Sacramento he is making it a point to take me to each one. This trip is the Squeeze Inn famous for their cheeseburgers..the cheese melts off the sides of the burger and gets crispy. They moved but this is the entrance from the original place and you really had to squeeze in.

Erik and Karen.
Me with my cheeseburger...yum.
We went to IKEA...can't even remember why now but we ate :)
Greg at IKEA.

Back in the winter months Erik took Karen and me to Cafe Roffe...a Triple D, french cafe. Thought of Michael. Yummy stuff.

  1. I love the photos and can totally understand getting behind on the blogging. However, you MUST give yourself credit for keeping at it, even though you've gotten a bit behind. You are doing a GREAT job with this, much better than I am doing, certainly! I love you, Lynnie!
