Barrett goes to Russia!

Just got off the phone with Barrett. He sounds fantastic! Poor Elder Black - he was on the phone with his familybut because the phone Barrett tried did not work they moved to another back of phones. Barrett called us on one phone then the phone next to him didn't work. It took Elder Black 10 minutes to get back on the phone with his family. I felt bad for him and his family but grateful that they sacrificed so we could talk to Bear.

We didn't have much time but he spoke some Russian to us. He got all his packages and he gave me messages to tell people he didn't get a chance to write before he left. I was fine until we said goodbye and then I cried and he told me not to so he wouldn't :)

He sounds so happy. Talked to a scientist in the security line about bacteria which lead to a discussion on faith I guess because the guy said one can't see bacteria so Barrett called him a man of faith and asked him to read Alma 32 about faith.


Update: He tried calling from Atlanta and I missed his call. I can't believe it. I was just sitting waiting for a meeting to end. I could have taken the call but I forgot to take my phone out and it was on silence. I am heart sick.
