It's Official! My New Work Assignment

Here is the announcment that was sent to our organization today by our Deputy Director:

I am pleased to announce that effective March 1, 2012, Lynne Hamp with be rotating from the ACES Project to the Assistant to the Deputy Director position (Tax Administrator II - LT). Lynne’s primary role will be to head up Tax Branch’s Business Process Reengineering effort. Now that ACES has been in production for over a year, the Branch Executive Team has initiated a plan to review Tax Branch’s major processes to ensure they are the most efficient and responsive to our customers. I will be sure to share with you more of the details as we move forward with this effort.

Lynne comes to this position with a 18 years of service with EDD Tax Branch and a wealth of knowledge, especially given her recent role as our ACES Training Manager. Most recently, Lynne assumed full responsibility for ACES organizational change management. Lynne has extensive experience in facilitating and leading Branch-level initiatives, including development of our Branch strategic plan, T Branch Management Institute, and management of Tax Support Division’s Training Group. Lynne also facilitated extensive work on our Employment Tax System Review (ETSR) project, which was the precursor to ACES. Lynne’s knowledge of business process review methodology and our administrative responsibilities will be a great help in ensuring the success of our business process review.
