Placerville Ward Hoedown and Chili cook off

Placerville Ward had a ward activity...the Hoedown, Chili cook-off and line dancing. It was action packed. The Activities Committee always does such a good job! Here are the great decorations on the stage...I am sure we have George Strayer to thank for the animal cutouts :)

Greg won the chili cook off with his original creation that he made around the Saturday events which included April's birthday...Pizza party and Monster golf. With the brief intermission of the Hoedown, April's birthday picked up again at our house with a viewing of Baby Mama.

However, she didn't get away from the Hoedown without the entire room singing "Happy Birthday!" Good job boys!

The boys took off before the line dancing. Honestly, they were good sports to show. I love that they support ward activities even when they think they are a little hokey. Owen got through one half of a line dance, I got through two. It was a bit of a workout.
