Barrett's email - September 13th - Lenin

Barrett is such a funny boy! 

In celebration of finally going to see Lenin's Mausoleum, I have compiled a few pictures of Lenin that I've seen throughout the city. We weren't allowed to take cameras into the actual Mausoleum, so these will have to do.

Thank you for the information. I will talk to Elder H. The other two medications will cost 1021 rubles and 704 rubles. Google can tell you more accurately what that translates to (~$30 and ~$23?). So I guess I'll just get them. Let me know. Or there is another option. Sister R (a member of the ward) told me that all I need to do is boil a pot full of birch leaves, drink the tea, and wash my face with the water. It's a lot cheaper. I let you know how it goes.
As you can see from the pictures (which I hope you got), I did go to Lenin's Mausoleum. It was incredible! The whole thing is made of that beautiful rock, and all inside is red and black. After waiting probably an hour in line, we finally got in, walked past his body in a glass box in this big dimly-lit room, and walked out. A bit anti-climactic, but still totally epic. Definitely worth the price of admission.
So tomorrow is the end of my second transfer. Elder R and I are staying together,

Elder Rs' brother had a cool idea to get the address of our apartment so he could look it up on google maps. I don't know if it will work, but if you want to try, we live on ул. Яблочкова, Д. 36. Let me know if it works, or if you need more information. That would be really cool.
I tried writing some letters today, but I don't know how to write a letter that won't arrive for 2 weeks. It's strange.
