First Visa Trip!! Kiev Ukraine
Commentary that came with pictures:
It was incredible. We woke up at 3:30am to get to the airport on time. Me and my MTC group. It was so much fun. The first thing we did was go to the temple [image 2]. And here's me in front of it [image 3]. And at the cornerstone [image 4]. It was amazing. Then we went to lunch at an authentic Ukrainian restaurant. Here is the group with our driver. I accidentally got liver, so this is a picture of everyone trying it [image 5]. Then our driver, who is a member of the church here, took us on a little tour of Kiev. Wow! [Image 6] down at the foot of that statue is where President Packer dedicated Ukraine for the preaching of the gospel back in 1991 and promised many temples. The statue is of Prince Vladimir, who brought Christianity to Eastern Europe.
It was an incredible day. Kiev is perhaps the most beautiful city I've ever been to. The plaque picture might have to wait until my next visa trip which will be in December. Can you imagine it at Christmas time! It will be unbelievable. And the best part about Ukraine, is they have Oreos. haha. so we brought back a bunch

Points of business:
Ok, I will get the meds.
I have not gotten the package. The address was correct as far as I could tell. I'm not sure what the deal is. I've seen people get packages in the red white and blue boxes, but I guess I don't know how long they took to get here, so maybe the brown box next time. I guess it doesn't take too long for the mail to get to Russia, it's just that once it's in Russia, it can just sit in a room for a while until... who knows what.
As you have hopefully seen, I went to Ukraine on Saturday. I don't know how I forgot to tell you in last weeks email. But it was a ton of fun. Is it possible to wait on the plaque picture? Winter is coming, and I bet we can get some really good pictures in the snow. In fact today the district is going to see if we can't find winter coats, etc. You may have noticed, I pulled 5000 rubles off the card this morning.
Concerning emails. We still haven't found a place where we can print off emails, so I just skim really fast. haha. Dear Elders are great. And they're free. So there's really no downside. Except the two week delay, and 4 week minimum if I find time to write back. But I love to get Dear Elders.
It sounds like you had a great week. I bet the football game was fun. The band sounds like it's doing... well. Was the tri-tip any good? And the Butchers came to the Elders dinner. Very cool.
Thank you so much for the pictures. Old Faithful!! That's incredible! Beans looks like she's getting old. Be sure to tell her how much I love her. I think she would like summer in Russia. Everybody has little dogs.
We have a new Elder in our District, Elder Brown. Elder Black is training him. Yes, Elder Black and Elder Brown. haha. He is doing great. He is fearless and loves to talk to everyone.
Well, time is running out. I hope you have a great week. I love you. The Gospel is true. Tell everyone "hi, and make good choices"
Love you
