Mormon's Helping Hands & Julia's 90th Birthday

Today, Owen and I went to Coloma to do some yard work for the Mormon Helping Hands service project here in California.  I really had a hard time getting excited about going but went and, per usual, really had a nice time once I got there.  It feels good to serve and fun to visit with friends that our lives seem to busy to plan a time to connect.  The day was beautiful...perfect really.

Cutest kids - vests bigger than they are and look at these cute Primary CTR shirts!
When I got home I found an email that said that Julia's 90th birthday party was starting in 15 minutes.  I quickly changed and was on my way.  It was a wonderful celebration and Michelle put together a wonderful program that highlighted periods in Julia's life.  She was very musical.  She sang in singing group as a teenager and she played to ukele and so they got Julia up to play the ukele and Michelle had the girls sing Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy and________
