Kirill is a member of the church. He's awesome. He's is like my best friend. I love that guy. He got the priesthood on sunday. And a calling. He's awesome.
Happy Birthday Steve. You're awesome. I love you, man. Keep being awesome...
The plaque picture is awesome. That's actually the picture my companion was most proud of. We spent a while getting it just right. He doesn't even know about my habit of looking off. haha. Maybe you could even write in really small letters under the picture "taken by Elder C C". haha, just kidding. I don't have the scriptures on me, but I think I've already told you the verses that I want, something in Romans.
Good luck to dad with the new job and good luck to Greg with the new place. That's great. It may be a little bit before I get to talk to Elder C. He got transferred to Veronezh. But if I see him after July 1st, I will definitely ask him.
It sounds like every one had a great week. Did I mention that Kirill got the priesthood? He's incredible. Elder C and I were talking about it and we realized the first time we talked to him was the day after transfers and within one transfer he was baptized and confirmed andhe has the priesthood and a calling. And then we realized, We didn't do anything! Turns out he wasn't even a member referral like we thought he was. He found the church on his own and Timur just happened to be there and called us. On the second lesson when we extended the baptismal invitation, Kirill had already been thinking about baptism before we even asked. He bore his testimony of the Iron Rod in sacrament meeting. We never even talked with him about that! He found that in his own study. He planned his whole baptism basically. He's friends with the whole ward. They all love him. We didn't even set up his interview with the bishop. In fact after church we couldn't find him, so we ended up leaving, and when we called him he said he was talking with the bishop, and when he called back he had a calling. He's unbelievable. I love that guy. Holy cow
Well gotta go. There's another Kirill out there somewhere. It's so good to hear from you. Thank you so much for the pictures. Tell Brat Sheets hi for me. The zone training went well. I'm sure dad's talk was better. I'm looking forward to all the dearelders. Tell Steven I'm proud of him. Have a great week. Love you
Love
Elder Hamp
