It seems everyone is picking up on the 'parents pick Elder Hamp up' vibes. We had a visa trip this past week and so I had a chance to catch up with my good ol' MTC companion, Elder B. It turns out his parents want to come pick him up, too. Well, long story short, we decided that it would be awesome if you and his parents came we spend a week or so here and then we all come back together. Just something to think about. So to answer some of your questions I definitely would prefer for you to just come and pick me up without going home first. I don't know if there is a hotel that is preferred to others, but I do know that parents are not allowed to stay at the S's. I'm not sure why, but they live on the edge of the city anyway so it would be harder to get anywhere. So I will ask about the hotel. I will also ask about the airport. I think the church uses Sheremetova or Domodedova, whichever one is in the north western corner of Moscow. And as far as traveling outside of Moscow to other cities, at this point none of them really stands out as one we have to go see, but I still have plenty of time to go serve in one, so that may change. Basically so long as you're okay with spending a couple hours in a train, we can go anywhere you like. Anton R (son of the family in my first area that I love with all my heart) came up to me on Sunday, and the very first thing he said was "Are you coming over with your parents?" I told him yes of course, but it won't be until April. He doesn't care when you come, he's just excited that you're coming. Isn't that funny. I love that guy.
So yeah, Elder T and I are back in the area Elder C and I were in. It's a little strange being back. I don't remember if I already said this, but it feels almost like the last transfer never happened. But I'm glad to be back. Kiril is doing great. Elder T and I are still assistants, and there won't be traveling assistants, for at least one transfer. Who knows what will happen next transfer. I think I'm going to miss going on splits. It's cool to hear from Elder A's mom. Elder A is a great missionary. I have learned a lot from him. He is a natural born leader. His mom has done a fine job raising a fine son.
It's been a great week. Visa trip to Riga, splits with Zone Leaders, and a great p-day. We met this one guy on the metro and later when we called him to meet he brought two of his friends with him and they were all interested. It was so cool to see them picking up on the spirit vibes, they said it felt so good at the building.
Ok I gotta go. Sorry no pictures again. Maybe I'll just send a bunch the next time I'm in the office. And be sure to take a bunch of pictures of beans with the droopy ear in case it does get fixed. Haha
I love you
Elder Hamp
