Christmas 2012

Christmas Day was great!  Greg picked up Grandma Kay and we started breakfast at 8 a.m.  Then we made the much anticipated Group Missionary Call.  Barrett wanted to group Skype with Seth and Brandon.  Barrett was very happy to talk to Brandon and Michael and see all the Mackeys.  Unfortunately, Seth never did sign into Skype while everyone was on.

After the group call, Greg hooked the laptop to his big screen.  Here Barrett is taking a picture of his view which repeated his image infinitely

Seth called and so Barrett and Seth had a chance to talk.  Seth wearing his Honduras shirt :)

After the missionary calls we opened presents. Don't know why I only took one picture of present opening.

Greg installed our present a few days before Christmas.  He put new locks on all the doors.  I didn't feel unsafe before but I do feel safer with the news locks.  It was a very thoughtful gift from a very thoughtful son.

After our call, Sue R and Kim and Jeff came over for dinner.  It was so yummy....Sue prepared the roast and a yummy fruit salad, mom made the salad, I baked potatoes and made green beans. 

Greg had white bean quesadillas and vegan chocolate pudding for dinner. 

We played Farkle then had dessert.  Kim and Jeff brought three pies.   Laurie and the girls called during dessert. We Skyped and had a nice little visit. The girls showed us their new dolls.  It was a family and friend fun filled day. 

I am so grateful for our blessings.
